The comic, 'Eco' was designed by Jay, Amy, Benji, John, Ami, Brooklyn and Angelica who are on Glasgow Creative Pathways programme. A free arts-focused employability programme teaching young people aged 16-19 practical creative arts skills while offering them support with job-searching, CV-building and interview skills.

During the course of the programme they have been exploring ways to make a positive impact on the environment with drawings. Having visited ideas around recycling, animal rights, waste, pollution and solutions to becoming more eco-friendly. They interviewed staff at the Zero waste market in Dennistoun as well as Viridor the Recycling & Renewable Energy centre in Govanhill, to help inspire them in the theme of their comic book.

Lead Tutor Elina Bry, takes as through the Comic Book in a short video and explains how it all came about.
