Into the Wild: Integrating Neuroscience with Art Therapy Practice and Research with Juliet L. King, MA, ATR-BC, LPC, LMHC

This presentation introduces art therapy theory and practice as understood with a neuroscience lens. Theoretical tenets of art therapy will be explored and understood with science, encouraging the understanding of art therapy as a neurotherapeutic and the art therapist as a ‘neuroplastician.’

Juliet L. King is an Associate Professor of Art Therapy at The George Washington University and Adjunct Associate Professor in the Indiana University School of Medicine Department of Neurology, USA.
