In this era of social media, our networks are much larger, we have more access to people and communication can be both immediate and permanent. This presents challenges and benefits in our work as therapists. How can we utilize digital media and social networking while preserving our integrity and ethical principles?
Jennifer Byxbee is an art therapist and creative arts therapies supervisor in New York City. Jennifer has worked as an art therapist for over 8 years with children and adults in a variety of settings. Most recently, Jennifer spearheaded the creative arts therapy program at a large urban community health center. Jennifer’s prior experience comprises of work at nonprofits, schools, community health centers as well as a number of hospitals including Mount Sinai in New York City, USA
