David Read Johnson is a Director for the Institute for the Arts in Psychotherapy, New York, Co-Director of the Post Traumatic Stress Centre, New Haven, CT; and an Associate Clinical Professor, Department of Psychiatry, Yale University School of Medicine. He was a founding member and past President of the National Association for Drama Therapy, former Chairperson of the National Coalition for the Arts Therapy Associations, and former editor-in-chief of the International Journal of the Arts in Psychotherapy. He currently trains students in Developmental Transformations and treatment methods for post-traumatic stress disorder. He has written numerous articles and book chapters, and the books.
